One of my favorite hymns and praise songs is Before the Throne of God Above (click here and then on "listen to song sample").  The words are taken from Hebrews 7:23-25  and remind us of Christ's continual intercession on our behalf.  Because we have a "Great High Priest whose name is Love," we are bold in bringing all our prayer joys and concerns before the throne of grace.  The email version of the lpc e-pistle shares specific prayer requests.  In all our prayers, we are assured of grace to help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:14-16).
