Paul's First Letter to the Corinthians provides a critical glimpse into the life of the early church and how its faith is Jesus as Lord was played out in the everyday life of its members. Sex, marriage, worship, lawsuits and the extent and limits of Christian freedom are among the issues addressed by the letter.
